Say no, to Bathroom Singing!
In Venezuela where low rainfall has caused water shortages, the president Hugo Chavez has appealed to his people to stop singing while bathing because when people sing they spend as much as half an hour in the shower and use a huge amount of water. According to the president, three minutes in the shower is enough to keep anyone clean and odour free and he can vouch for that as he himself never spends more time than that in the bathroom.
Spreading Awareness
You can also contribute in saving our mother earth. If you also use resources carefully, you can also make a difference :) Some steps and activities are listed below, try to do them and contribute in the "Save the Earth" campaign!
Minimise the usage of water, and recycle. Acces to clean and adequate drinking water sources is a major problem facing the world toaday. Even though water is a renewable resource, it's overuse and pollution make it unfit for use. Discharge of untreated or partially treated sewage, agriculturalchemicals and industrial effluents in water bodies are major contaminants. Please don't keep tap running while brushing because already litres and litres of water gets wasted from a dripping tap. Cut your showers short. Avoid doing things which waste water. Use mild detergents for washing clothes and use the waste water for watering plants.
Minimize the use of electricity. Do you know how much electricity do you waste everyday? It's impossible to know. So just think how much electricity gets wasted in the whole world? Well..... now you would think that I (you) am not even counted in 0.00000001 percent of the world's population so it will not cause any harm if I turn the lights on or waste electricity! But....... it is not so. If everybody thinks like that, then our earth will be in great Danger :( Not a single drop of water nor electricity, only pollution, population and destruction! So, you must do simple things like turning lights, fans, computers, ACs, Heaters and other electrical appliances when not in use.

The world is in grave danger- FROM US! If we don't wake up now, we shall cause severe damage which will be irreversible and there would be nothing left for our future generations.
